■ STELLLLLAAAA
Okay, this isn’t James Dean related (well…) but I need to express my happiness and my followers would understand, I feel!
I was going to audition for “A Streetcar Named Desire” at our city theatre this past week, however my parents were in town so I was unable to. I’ve been in serveral shows before, but since I have moved to Florida, I have been MIA from the stage.
Today I got the message that everyone has been cast EXCEPT STELLA, which is the part I was going to go for. New auditions to take place this coming Monday.
IT WAS MEANT TO BE. I can’t waitqlkwhfoitgfoiegfioegw!
Okay, that is all. I’ll get to Jimmy Dean soon but I HAD TO TELL YOU. In fact, reading more and more James Dean bio’s certainly inspired me to get back into acting -something I love and miss! I was nervous…but, fuck it, I’m doing this, people!
AWWWW YEAH!

| Why do you think so many celebrity actors try so hard and want so badly to become something of a James Dean? | ◤ | isaiahmparham-deactivated201306 |
I think the actors who truly try and channel James Dean or to strive to be like a James Dean not only know of him and his acting, but a bit about his life, too. Just a regular person (like me!) can be inspired by reading about him, so I would imagine that as an actor, seeing what he was able to accomplish in a matter of 5 years is remarkable. I read a quote from Johnny Depp where he loved whichever movie of Dean’s he saw first, so much so that he had to read about him. Once he read “The Mutant King”, he fell in love and his whole aspect of acting, and even life, shifted!
Through his short life and career, he followed that damn dream to be great, and did whatever he could to get there. He made it, and he made it big starring in 3 major films in under 2 years. Not to mention his accomplishments in NYC, including getting into the Actor’s Studio after auditioning only once.
He’s just AWESOME.
